This 1905 White Steamer carries its owner's
family on an outing. Unhappily, nothing more is know about either the family or the car.
This advertisement is
found in Floyd Clymer's Steam Car Scrapbook, (1945, Bonanza Books, Crown
Publishers, Inc.), p. 67. As with almost all of the illustrations and material
in his Scrapbook, (a very appropriate description) Clymer lists no
sources.
These two blotters are part of an advertising series called
Highway of Memories. They date from 1957, given the three-month calendar. They play on the early interest in antique automobiles.
