The information on ther reverse reads as follows: PLA 0910107.....New York Bureau Letting off Steam Craigivar{sic}, Scotland: Steam Clouds envelop Britain's Lord Douglas, to the amuseument of his wife (left), as he tries out an ancient steam-powered vehicle at Craigievar Castoe in Scotland. Looking on (background) is Lord Semphill. The steam wagon was built in 1890 for the postman of the Craigievar District of Aberdeenshire. Called the "Craigievar Express," the vehicle is capable of 20 m.p.h. It headed a triumphal coronation procession in Aberdeen in 1953. A local law once required a man bearing a red flag to walk in frotn of the wagon, which is steered tiller-fashion. The baronial-style castle was built in 1624.
