Covert Motor Vehicle Co.
The 1901 Covert range consisted of a light steam runabout with 2-cylinder engine and chain drive, and a 3 hp gasoline car that weighted only 350 lbs. Later shaft-driven Coverts used gasoline engines of 6½ hp single cylinder (Model A) and 24 hp 4-cylinder (Model b).[1]
